  • September 10th - CASINO NIGHT!

Join us at Top of the Hill Restaurant from 7pm to 10pm for a great fund raising event. Your initial casino chips will be provided, there will be a cash bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Free valet parking - located in front of Spanky's & additional parking at 140 West Franklin parking lot. Tickets are $40 each or $70 for two. All proceeds benefit the Community Service Projects of GCHAR.

  • September 13th - Member Meeting (lunch time)

We will be having the September Member Meeting at Governors Club and our speaker will be Bill Gallagher. The topic is REALTOR ethics. Lunch will begin at 11:30 and the meeting will begin at 12:00.

True or False.  Could REALTOR Ethics and NC Licensing Law conflict? True.

  • September 13th - CE Class
Bill Gallagher will be teaching a CE Elective Class titled "Handling Offers Properly" after the Member Meeting. Class will be from 1:30pm to 5:30pm at Governors Club. Costs for members is $55 and for non-members it is $65.   New laws on "electronic transmission of contracts", the "E-Sign Act", and UETA will be discussed, as well as the basic rules on handling various types of paperwork and situations: offers, counteroffers, multiple offers, contingent sale offers on sale of property, and backup offers! Real life scenarios will be discussed and analyzed throughout the course.
  • September 16th - Tempo Workshop
Lynne Brid of Triangle MLS will be at our offices to discuss the "Prospects" aspect of the Tempo system. She will be covering Prospect Defaults, Using the Prospect Wizard and The Client Gateway. If possible, please bring your laptop computer with you! Class will be held at the GCHAR offices and start at 9:00 am.
  • September 22 - Lunch 'n Learn
Bring a bag lunch for yourself and come hear Dan Parlin from Budget Blinds. Lunch and Learn's are held at the Association Office from 12 to 1pm

GRI 203 - Legal Issues in Real Estate: This practical course addresses the day-to-day legal issues faced by real estate agents regarding their responsibilities, the pitfalls, and ways to reduce their risks. CE*

GRI 204 - Real Estate Trends: This course is a comprehensive look at the trends affecting the real estate industry today. Trends in the economy, the real estate industry, the latest in technology, marketing, buying and selling will be discussed.
