The Town of Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill is a small city, good for strolling along its quaint streets. Numerous bookstores and restaurants vie for your attention. There is a pace to the life in Chapel Hill, which makes it for many, the only place on earth to live. This gentle spirit has made Chapel Hill a favorite spot for retirees. Town of Hillsborough Currently the county seat for Orange County, Hillsborough is a tourist and permanent destination and a hotbed of activity for artists and writers. Each June, Barbecue lovers descend on the town for the annual Hog Day, and the downtown comes alive with arts and entertainment the last Friday evening of each month during warm weather. Hillsborough is home to the Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area and several other trails. Town of Carrboro Carrboro was started in 1882 when the Durham-Greensboro Southern Railway line was extended to link university students with neighboring communities. The town, commonly referred to as the “Paris of the Piedmont” takes pride in being known as a community rich in cultural and economic diversity. Town of Pittsboro Residents of Pittsboro embrace their small town and the values of respect for one another and a very strong sense of community. Its' people are a diverse group of artists, farmers, merchants and students, and it is home to the North Carolina Zen Center . It supports software developers, bio-fuel research and production, antique shops and art galleries. Pittsboro was featured in the April 2004 issue of Southern Living Magazine. City of Raleigh
Raleigh was voted the #1 place where Americans are relocating in 2009 by Forbes.com and is currently home to more than 385,000 people. Town of Cary Residents of Cary take home one of the highest median household incomes in the state. They also enjoy close proximity to a number of the nation's top universities including Duke, North Carolina State, and the University of North Carolina, with more than two-thirds of the city's adults holding their college degree. Chapel Hill is a town rich with traditions, ideas, spirit, and exuberance for healthy living. Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina go hand in hand. Located in downtown, the University is the hub of this small city. Franklin Street, which fronts the university, offers locals and students a wide range of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, arts and theater. It is described as a quaint community with an easy pace. 
Hillsborough is a small town with a big history. The downtown historic district, boasts more than 100 homes, churches and buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Visitors Center is one of those buildings which is open to the public. This building served as Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's headquarters when he surrendered the largest of the Confederate armies to Gen. William T. Sherman, leading to the Civil War's end.
Carrboro is also known for its arts and music. There are many well-known artists, musicians and writers that hail in this small town and its neighbor, Chapel Hill. It's a rare day that the outdoor market places, restaurants and parks aren't filled with people enjoying this community. 
Whether you call Durham the “City of Medicine” or the “Bull City”, it’s apparent why so many residents and businesses call Durham their home. Durham is located halfway between the Great Smoky Mountains and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Durham is also home to over 300 restaurants, more than 40 festivals annually, Duke and North Carolina Central universities, the Durham Bulls, art and science museums, world-class medical facilities and a state of the art performing arts venue just to name a few. 
Pittsboro is located in the heart of Chatham County, which is one of the fastest growing counties in the state. It is the county seat and, as such, home to the Chatham County Government employing more than 1300 people. 
Greater Raleigh is chalked full of exciting attractions that appeal to both life-long residents and and first-time visitors. Abounding with diverse attractions to lure and capture the fascination of both young and old, Raleigh offers shopping districts, art galleries, Broadway productions, a vibrant night-life, and much more. For the sports fan, Raleigh has world-class golf-communities if you are in the mood for a round of golf, and has college and professional sports year-round for the avid spectator. 
The town of Cary, North Carolina is located just minutes from Raleigh in the heart of the Triangle area. In the past, Cary has consistently been classified as one of the top communities in the nation to live, work, find home, start a business, raise a family, or retire.
